ACTIVITY:

Stand or walk for 3 minutes every hour while working

It’s very easy for us to slip into a sedentary position for long periods of time throughout the day. Set an alarm on your phone or computer, use an old-fashioned timer, or download a free app like “Stand Up!” as a reminder to get up an move each hour during our work day. Just a 3-minute break to stand, walk around, hand-deliver a message, empty the trash, or even go fill up our water cup, provides us better clarity, focus, blood-flow throughout the body, less body stiffness, and increased body movement throughout the day. It all adds up!
